A fanlisting (FL) is a non-profit, non-commercial online listing of all fans of a certain subject, mostly for entertainment purposes. In this case, this site is an FL for the relationship between manga/anime characters Hanabishi Recca and Sakoshita Yanagi, the main couple of the series Flame of Recca (Recca no Honoo).

Why bother with a fanlisting? For website owners, a fanlisting serves the same function as any other listing -- more exposure for your site, since it gives you more backlinks, possibly improving your pagerank. For non-website owners, it's a rather cool way to see your interests immortalized online. :)

Images for this layout and codes were from scanned by SnoopyCool, which I downloaded from One Manga and Manga-Links. Some anime images were from AnimeCubed and Anime-Aimee. Photo manipulation done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, using three textures by Jessica of Dearest, some brushes by Ego-Box and Inspired Colors, and the Hour Photo and Pointers fonts from DaFont. This listing runs on a nifty script called Enthusiast.
